They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they reduce sweat. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already distressed so your feet just get comfortable fast.

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
